Katanning Hamfeast Report

Many thanks to everyone who came along to the Katanning Ham Feast yesterday – It was great to see everyone and catch up for a chat and some lunch.

I think I counted around 35 guests for lunch at the Royal Exchange Hotel for the 7th Katanning Ham Feast.

First prize in the raffle (LED magnifying desk lamp) was won by VK6TY Lee.  Thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and proceeds from the raffle go to helping Southern Electronics Group.

The Treasurer Bevan VK6BL also advises that many members also renewed their membership and we also signed up some new members yesterday.  Thank you to those who renewed their membership and welcome to the new SEG members.

Thanks to Chris VK6JI who has uploaded his photos from the day to his website.  Checkout http://www.cwjames.info/kathamfeast/

The next Ham Feast is planned for Manjimup in mid-2016 (exact date is to be advised) and hoping you can all make it along.

Thanks again all for making it a great day.

2016 Katanning Hamfeast

The next annual Katanning Hamfeast is to be held on Tuesday 19 January 2016.

Start time is 12.00pm for lunch at Oscar’s Cafe at the Royal Exchange Hotel in Katanning. (Austral Terrace opposite the railway station)

As always, the meals & desserts are very good. Food and drinks are also very reasonably priced.

This will be the 7th anniversary of the event.

Car pooling is encouraged and I would imagine we will have travellers from Albany, Manjimup and Perth areas heading to Katanning.

Please post here if you require a lift or can offer transport.

Please RSVP via the Contact Page by Monday 11 January 2016 so I can making a booking with the cafe and prepare name badges for the day.  YL’s, YM’s, XYL’s, XYM’s, wives, husbands and partners are also very welcome to attend.

Please pass the word around and I look forward to seeing you there!
