Nominations for the 2025 Committee for the Annual General Meeting of the Southern Electronics Group closed on 21 January 2025.

I am pleased to advise that five (5) nominations were received for the positions of Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer and Committee Member.  Thank you to the nominees for volunteering your time and expertise for 2025.

The nominees are:

Chairperson: Rob VK6LD

Deputy Chairperson: Bevan VK6BL

Secretary: Darren VK6EK

Treasurer: Nigel VK6NI

Committee Member: Duncan VK6GHZ

The 2025 Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday, 5 March 2025, commencing at 7.00pm.

The meeting will be held online using the Jitsi software platform.  This is a free download for your phone or tablet from the relevant app store – search for “Jitsi”.

The Agenda for the 2025 AGM will be:

1. Overview of 2024 year;
2. 2024 Financial Report;
3. Elect office holders & committee; and
4. Confirm Membership Fees for 2025/26.

If you have any other AGM business to be included, please let me know by Friday 28 February 2025.

Importantly, we need a quorum of 6 members to validate the meeting. 

I’m sure the AGM will be short and sweet affair, so if you could please give the committee-elect nominees a small amount of your evening, to ensure we get you in the attendance register and are operating as per the rules.  Alternatively, please complete the Proxy Form (Link) for another member attending and send to the secretary.
